Prosthodontics is a higher level of dental care than general dentistry and is the dental specialty devoted to restoring and replacing teeth. Prosthodontists specialize in the restoration and replacement of missing teeth and are specialists for veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, complex reconstructions and dental implants.
Dr. Ryan specializes in esthetic and implant dentistry, reconstructive dentistry, and the management of occlusion. She completed a three-year residency program in Prosthodontics at the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2010, she was granted a master’s degree in Prosthodontics.

She was a surgical implant fellow in the Graduate Prosthodontic program at the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she became proficient in surgical techniques related to implant planning and placement, and she taught clinical procedures, implants, and restorative concepts to dental students. Dr. Ryan continues to serve as a guest faculty member of the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry where she enjoys lecturing and working with the prosthodontic residents in the clinical atmosphere as well as with their research.
