PROSTHODONTIST
Dr. Kathryn Ryan
Dr. Kathryn Ryan is a Prosthodontist and a specialist in esthetic and implant dentistry, reconstructive dentistry, and the management of occlusion. She developed her love for the dental profession during her undergraduate years at the University of Michigan. She graduated in 2002 with a bachelor degree in Biopsychology and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The University of the West Indies in 2007.
Dr. Ryan holds a Certificate of Specialty in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science Degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. During her time at Marquette, she completed her national dental boards and finished a 3-year residency program in fixed and removable prosthodontics and implant and maxillofacial prosthetics. The rigorous program developed her ability to treat the most complex type of dental patient, which is her passion.
Her next achievement was becoming Fellowship trained in Implant Surgery at the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s Graduate Prosthodontics program. While in Gainesville, Florida she also became an educator for the undergraduate dental students in clinical procedures and implant restorative concepts. After graduating in 2011, she moved to Tallahassee and practiced Prosthodontics in a well-established practice.
Dr. Ryan and her family moved to Jacksonville in 2013 where she partnered with Dr. Nidal Elias, a fellow Prosthodontist. She matured her knowledge and shared in treatment planning the most difficult of cases. Her dream to open her own practice became a reality in 2015. With this opportunity, she can now employ superior quality treatment and craftsmanship to the people of Jacksonville.
