Dr. Kathryn Ryan is a highly qualified Prosthodontist and an expert in esthetic and implant dentistry, reconstructive dentistry, and occlusion management. She discovered her passion for dentistry during her undergraduate studies at the prestigious University of Michigan, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology in 2002. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The University of the West Indies in 2007.
Dr. Ryan's commitment to her profession is demonstrated by her exceptional qualifications. She has a Certificate of Specialty in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science Degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. During her residency program, which spanned three years, she completed her national dental boards and became an expert in fixed and removable prosthodontics, as well as implant and maxillofacial prosthetics. Dr. Ryan is particularly passionate about treating complex dental patients.
Dr. Ryan then became Fellowship trained in Implant Surgery at the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s Graduate Prosthodontics program, where she was also an educator for undergraduate dental students in clinical procedures and implant restorative concepts. She relocated to Tallahassee in 2011 and practiced Prosthodontics in a well-established practice.
In 2013, Dr. Ryan and her family moved to Jacksonville, where she partnered with Dr. Nidal Elias, another Prosthodontist. Dr. Ryan furthered her knowledge and shared in treatment planning for the most challenging cases. In 2015, she achieved her dream of opening her own practice, Parkway Prosthodontics, allowing her to offer high-quality treatment and exceptional craftsmanship to the people of Jacksonville.
